About Your Workshop
You will learn a brief overview of Fresco and Secco painting. Exploring the Pompeii Frescos, Romano British wall paintings and Medieval artwork and Fayum portraits for inspiration. You will create your own egg tempera painting on a wooden panel to take home. All art materials, tuition and handouts are included. It is helpful to have some painting experience, but this workshop is also suitable for beginners. Due to the use of dry pigments during the workshop, dust masks are provided, and need to be worn during the workshop. Please note that raw egg is used as the paint binder, and is non vegan. This workshop is suitable for people 16 yrs and over. This site is wheelchair friendly, service dogs welcome. (A minimum of 3 participants are required to run this workshop - in the event of theses numbers not being reached you will have the option of your money back, or being booked onto an another date.)






Cancelation Policy
Our cancelation policy states that attendees may cancel or reschedule a workshop up to 48 hours before the scheduled date. Failure to do so will result in the attendee being charged the full workshop fee. If Arteology cancels the workshop for any reason, the attendee will be reimbursed in full. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to our cancelation policy.
