WHAT WE DO
We make history fun!!
We use art projects to sneak that information in!
We wear weird clothes and dress as Celts, we time travel and take you with us!
We create and deliver fun and informative, well researched, historically accurate workshops and display talks.
We are currently focussing on the Iron Age, both Britons and Romans, and exploring history using the medium of earth paints.
We also deliver talks and workshops dealing with environmental issues of plastic pollution.
(We can tailor our workshops for your needs and do cover other time periods - just email to discuss your requirements)
Most of our exciting workshops are based at Park in the Past near Wrexham, in beautiful North Wales. (Though we do also travel to other locations and events. We also work with Museums and Historical attractions)
We are also available to run art history outreach in North Shropshire too.
All materials and equipment are provided on the day, but we do ask that you dress appropriately for the weather, as many of our workshops are outdoor based.
We are pleased to announce that 'Arteology' is now a member of EXARC.
This means we have access to up to date archeological information, theories and best practice for teaching history and can create working partnerships with other similar experimental archeologists and history interpreters.
